Couple of weeks back I shared my recipe for Sausage Pizza. I had a lot of leftover dough that I knew I can create many things from. But I definitely wanted something to make that was new and unexplored.
So, I made an herb bread.

So, I made an herb bread.
Absolutely fuss free and most minimum ingredients used, this gourmet bread is bound to wow your guests with your baking skills.
Ingredients:
- 250 gms. yeast dough
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 3 tbsp. fresh or dried basil leaves
- 2 tbsp. dried oregano
- 2 cheese cubes chopped small
- 2 tsp. black pepper powder
- salt to taste
Method:
Knead the prepared yeast dough well.
Fold into the dough salt, pepper, herbs and tiny pieces of the cheese.
Form the dough into a log and smear it generously with olive oil.
Place the dough into a greased bread loaf tin.
Cover with a clean lint free towel or a clingwrap and let the dough rise for atleast half hour before baking.
Bake it in oven for 30-45 minutes in 180 degree Celsius.
Serve it as it is or with some butter or even scrambled eggs on a slice. Because of the cheese, when the bread of hot from oven, you will get pockets of molten cheese that tastes superb. *Affiliate Links
