6. Great Sense of Accomplishment
I and my husband have been raising Daisy single-handedly since day one. While, his mother did spend a few days after delivery and my parents flock from time to time, I cannot say that there is any major contribution from either side.
Raising her each day has been giving us so much of confidence. The society induced fear towards babies has thankfully hasn't gotten into us and we have been able to start from a clean slate of mind.
Daisy makes me feel proud and powerful because I manage her, juggle time and carry on with other activities. It has made me more alert and responsible than before. And, this feeds my inner pride.
