Recipe 105: Eggless Tutti Frutti Cake

Sharing the recipe of my quarantine bake that uses no eggs or curd.


  1. 2 cups all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup castor sugar
  3. 1 cup vegetable oil
  4. 1 + 1/4 cups hot milk
  5. 1/4 cup tutti frutti (get on Amazon)
  6. 1.5 tbsp. baking powder
  7. 1 tbsp. flax seed powder (optional)
  8. 1/4 tsp. salt
  9. 1 tsp. vanilla essence (get on Amazon)
  10. 1 tsp. mixed fruit essence (get on Amazon)


Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius.
Grease and flour a cake tin and keep it ready.
Whisk sugar, oil, flax seed powder, vanilla and mixed fruit essence till frothy.
Sieve together flour, baking powder and salt.
Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix 2 tsp. flour into the tutti frutti.
Keep aside.
Gradually stir in the flour and milk into the sugar-oil mixture.
Now add the tutti frutti to the cake batter.
Mix lightly.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.
Bake for 45 minutes or till the cake rises and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool for half an hour and demould.
Cut into slices and serve.


Now you can also bake like a professional!
